Latvijas Universiade (12-05-2012)

Ran cross-country race yesterday, felt very bad there, but today it was little bit better. Throughout the race until long leg was not sure of myself. Stupid routechoice to 3rd control, couldn't keep the direction to 4th and my route choice to 5th was very bad also. Mistake to 7th where I was really close to the right stream, I saw itt but mistook it for a marsh south of the control. Probably also to eight control should have gone straight. After that I did well and could increase my speed in the end. Leaves have appeared and they made orienteering more challenging than before because of reduced visibility. Even if my technical performance and physical feeling was weak, I had the second result in Student's class and 3rd best time in distance which coincided with M21A course.
